PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join tension-resisting wires excellent in weather resistance, time course and strength surely and with small amounts of explosive powder metallurgically by an explosion by connecting end surface of steel core parts at the end of both electric wires in a copper sleeve and covering it with an aluminum wire, then setting an aluminum sleeve on it, and by pressing by an explosion. SOLUTION: Aluminum stranded wires on the ends of two electric wires to be joined are unraveled for fixed length. A bare steel core wire 2 is inserted into a steel sleeve 4 and end parts are contacted. The circumference of the steel sleeve 4 is covered by above described unraveled aluminum wire 1, and an aluminum sleeve 3 for inside layer with the same length as the steel sleeve 4 is placed on it, and an aluminum sleeve 5 for outside layer of larger diameter is put on the outside through a spacer 11. Explosive 6 with explosion speed under 4000m/sec is wound outside through an explosive case 8 and is fired from one part through a fuse and a detonator. This action joins the aluminum sleeves 3 and 5, and the aluminum wire 1 metallurgically at high speed, also caulks the steel sleeve 2 centripetally, and joins both iron cores 2 strongly in mechanical.
