摘要：
PURPOSE: To carry out the stable continuous casting of the sheet by easily drawing the sheet without solidifying the molten steel on the shorter side. CONSTITUTION: In a continuous casting machine of the sheet provided with a vibrating mold which consists of a longer mold and a shorter mold and is vibrated in the slab drawing direction, the vibrating mold is provided with a shorter mold 4 whose upper part is expanded and whose lower part is reduced, and which is made of the refractory of low heat conductivity. The sheet can be easily drawn without solidifying the molten steel 16 on the shorter side to enable the stable continuous casting of the sheet.
