PURPOSE: To provide a simple support structure for calum base having a sufficient horizontal yield strength for an installation frame constructed of anchor bolts erected in a frame form by arranging bracing members between adjoining anchor bolts. CONSTITUTION: An installation frame F is constructed of a plurality of anchor bolts 4, 4 that are erected perpendicularly in parallel with one another in a frame form. Threads are provided at each of the anchor bolts 4 at its upper and lower parts, and the anchor bolts are connected integrally at points near the upper thread with a splice plate 6 on installation. In a support structure fro a column base equipped with such installation frame F, bracing members 5, 5 are provided between the adjoining anchor bolts 4 of the installation frame F. Therefore, tilt and twist in the vertical direction are corrected automatically as the installation frame F is erected. As rigidity in the horizontal direction is applied on installation, swing in the horizontal direction can be eliminated and dislocation can be prevented even though external force is applied.
