PURPOSE:To provide the information recording medium which decreases the jitters after recording to lower the appearance rate of the jitters in spite of the off-standard jitters, is improved in the threshold performance of a substrate and exhibits stable performance. CONSTITUTION:The light transmissive substrate 1 of the information recording medium formed with a recording layer 2 on the light transmissive substrate 1 consists of polycarbonate having the mol.wt. ranging from 32000 to 40000.
