摘要:
PURPOSE:To provide a driving device for an overhead traveling crane of simple mechanism and easy operation, by which the overhead traveling crane can be safely and easily driven. CONSTITUTION:When a slide beam 14 is positioned in the lower region of a main beam 12, the main beam 12 is let travel by a main beam traveling device 19. The slide beam 14 is not collided with a strut at the time when the main beam 12 is traveling. The movement of the slide beam 14 is regulated by a slide beam moving device 38 until a hoist 16 is moved to one end part of the slide beam 14, and when the hoist 16 is moved to the one end part of the slide beam 14, the movement of the hoist 16 is stopped, and the slide beam 14 is started to be moved at the same time. Thus the traveling of the hoist 16 and the movement of the slide beam 14 do not need to be controlled respectively. A touch sensor 66 is provided on the hoist 16 so that an overhead traveling crane 10 is stopped when the hoist 16 collides with an obstacle, and the operational safety is thus achieved.
