PURPOSE: To steadily lock a boot using one hand by causing a second flexible cable to hook its end with an automatic hook means after closing a frontal and rear part on pressing on a clamping lever toward a slide cable when the boot is open. CONSTITUTION: A close lock means is composed of a clamping lever 7, a first and second flexible cables 10, 12 to interlock a frontal 2 and rear part 3 of an upper and an automatic hook means 18 to hook another end of the cable 12. The cable 10 is to joint an edge with the frontal part 2 on an end concurrently joint another edge with the end of the lever 7. Further, the cable 12 joints an edge to the middle part of the lever 7 on another end of the upper, cause another edge 12a to face the means 18, move the lever 7 toward the cable 12 to hook the other edge 12a onto the means 18, and finally end up in clamping the circumference of the frontal 2 and rear part 3 with the cable 10, 12 to close the upper.
