摘要:
PURPOSE:To facilitate the formation of completely substituted organophosphazene oligomer by polycondensing a specified compound through elimination of POCl3 under heating in a vacuum. CONSTITUTION:A phosphoric amide of formula I [wherein R is (substituted) aryl] is reacted with equimolar phosphorus pentachloride desirably in the absence of any solvent to obtain a compound of formula II. This compound is heated to 200-400 deg.C in a vacuum of about 20mmHg or below in the presence of optionally a polyvalent metal compound as a catalyst and polycondensed through elimination of the formed POCl3 to obtain an organophosphazene oligo mer comprising repeating units of formula III.
