摘要：
PURPOSE: To obtain a microbicide containing a triazolylmethylcyclopropyl carbinol derivative as an active ingredient, not only having excellent antibacterial and antifungal actions but also a wide action spectrum, and useful for preserving industrial materials. CONSTITUTION: This microbicide contains a compound of the formula [R1 is an alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an aryl; Y is CH2 , OCH2 , CH2 -CH2 , CH=CH; (m) is 0, 1; R2 is a halogen, ZR4 (Z is O, S, SO, SO2 ; R4 is an alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an aryl, an aryl which may be substituted by a halogen)], e.g. 1-(2,4- difluorophenyl)-1-hydroxy-2-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-1-(1-trifluoromethylm ercapto-1- cyclopropyl) ethane as an active ingredient. The microbicide is useful for preserving plastics, leathers, wood, paints, lubricants for cooling, and liquids for heat exchange.
