PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positively chargeable toner for electrostatic charge image development and a color image forming method using the toner. SOLUTION: The positively chargeable toner for electrostatic charge image development includes colored resin particles containing a binder resin and a colorant, and an external additive, wherein the external additive contains, based on 100 pts.mass of the colored resin particles, 0.3-3 pts.mass of first silica fine particles having a number average primary particle diameter of 45-120 nm and a triboelectric charge amount of +1,000 to +5,000 μC/g, 0.1-2 pts.mass of second silica fine particles having a number average primary particle diameter of 25-40 nm and a triboelectric charge amount of +1,000 to +7,000 μC/g, and 0.005-0.1 pt.mass of fatty acid metal salt particles.
