PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plunger pump for actualizing high fixing strength between a seat member and a pump housing while reducing manufacturing labor and time, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The plunger pump 10 comprises the bottomed cylindrical seat member 11, and the cylindrical pump housing 12 inserted into the seat member 11, wherein a pump chamber P is formed in the pump housing 12.
