PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential apparatus for vehicle, which can prevent baking and biased wear in a pinion gear and differential case from occurring, and obtain an excellent engaging condition between the pinion gear and differential case. SOLUTION: Pinion gears 3 and 4, which are engaged by crossing a gear shaft with side gears 5R and 5L, have gear sections 31 and 41 receiving a reaction force followed by torque transmission toward the side gears 5R and 5L. Furthermore, the pressure angle of the gear sections 31 and 41 is set to be an angle that the line of action through the resultant force of reaction forces from the side gears 5R and 5L is always crossed with first supported sections 3a and 4a, the second supported sections 3b and 4b and the first pinion gear supporting surfaces 10a and 11a of a differential case 2, or second pinion gear supporting surfaces 10b and 11b.
