An image correction data generation system includes a signal generation unit, an imaging unit, and a control unit. The signal generation unit supplies a signal for outputting an image, to a display panel. The imaging unit captures an output image displayed on the display panel. The control unit is connected to the signal generation unit and the imaging unit. The control unit has an instruction unit, an image acquisition unit, a bandpass filter unit, and a corrected data generation unit. The instruction unit outputs to the signal generation unit, a supply instruction of a signal value common to the entire display panel. The image acquisition unit acquires output image data from the imaging unit. The bandpass filter unit executes a bandpass filtering on the output image data so as to calculate bandpass data. The data generation unit outputs an image correction table corresponding to the bandpass data.
