PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic image formation and to provide a method and device for image formation in which high quality images can be obtained while reducing the size of the device and cost by decreasing the number of parts and integrating the functions. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic image formation contains at least a binder resin and magnetic powder and it contains 10 to 40 wt.% of a magnetic material consisting of the magnetic powder coated with a coloring agent and colored into black.
