To provide a braid folding-back cutting device and a braid folding-back cutting method capable of folding back and cutting a braid without damaging wire materials.SOLUTION: A braid processing device is provided with a punch 51 and a die 47a. The punch 51 has a thru-hole 51 capable of accommodating at least a shield wire W. The die 47a has a thru-hole 47a1 into which the shield wire W can be inserted, and the punch 51 can enter. The punch 51 with the thru-hole 51a in which a tip end Wf of the shield wire W is accommodated moves to the rear of the shield wire W along an outer circumference of the shield wire W. When moving, the punch 51 pushes a braid spread by air to the rear of the shielded wire W, and enters the thru-hole 47a1 while sandwiching the braid 103 positioning at the rear end 47a2 of the die 47a between itself and the die 47a, to allow the punch 51 and the die 47a to cut the braid 103.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
