To provide an advertisement display system configured to display an advertisement in an appropriate position in a virtual reality space in accordance with a moving speed of an avatar or a viewpoint of the avatar in the virtual reality space.SOLUTION: An advertisement display system acquires coordinates and a size of an avatar in a virtual reality space, and divides a coordinate change amount per unit time of the avatar in the virtual reality space by a reference amount according to the size of the avatar, to calculate a moving speed of the avatar. The system determines whether a viewpoint of the avatar in the virtual reality space is set in a first-person viewpoint or in a third-person viewpoint. When the avatar is moving in the virtual reality space, the system controls an advertisement to be displayed in different positions in the virtual reality space with respect to a user operating the avatar in accordance with the moving speed and the viewpoint of the avatar.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
