To provide an automatic fiber bundle placement device capable of preventing problems in a placement of a fiber bundle as much as possible by reducing the amount of twist of the fiber bundle guided toward a guide roller in a placement head.SOLUTION: An automatic fiber bundle placement device comprises: a feeder that supplies multiple fiber bundles; a placement head for placing each fiber bundle on a placement mold; an articulated robot that moves the placement head; and a guide mechanism that guides the fiber bundle from the feeder toward the placement head. The placement head includes: an introduction hole for introducing the fiber bundle into the placement head; multiple feed mechanisms that feed the fiber bundle toward a pressing part; and a guide roller corresponding to each feed mechanism. The placement head includes at each introduction hole: a pair of rollers that are provided such that axes are parallel to each other and have different positions in a direction of a center line of the introduction hole; and an S-shaped guide that supports the pair of rollers and includes a support that is rotatably provided around the center line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
