To reduce the impact of noise on a signal at an adjacent contact due to a clock signal while suppressing an increase in the number of contacts.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus 100 has an accessory 200 detachably attached thereto. A plurality of contacts electrically connected to the accessory are arranged in a line on the electronic apparatus. The plurality of contacts include: an attachment detection contact TC06 used to detect the attachment of the accessory to the electronic apparatus; and a first clock contact TC07 used for transmission of a first clock signal in communication between the electronic apparatus and the accessory. The potential of the attachment detection contact changes from predetermined potential to ground potential after the accessory is attached to the electronic apparatus.
