To provide a movable floor cleaning robot comprising a cleaning system.SOLUTION: A movable floor cleaning robot comprises: a robot body for determining a front drive direction; a drive system; a cleaning system; and a controller communicating with the drive system and the cleaning system. The cleaning system comprises: a pad holder comprising a bottom surface for receiving a cleaning pad; and a fluid applicator configured to coat a fluid to a floor surface. The controller controls the drive system and the fluid applicator while executing a cleaning routine. The cleaning routine comprises a step for coating the fluid to a floor surface section which is almost equal to a footprint section of the robot, and a step for returning the robot to the floor surface section for moving a center and a side edge of the cleaning pad to the floor surface section individually, for wetting the cleaning pad with the fluid to be coated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
