To provide a method for producing coated inorganic powder in which inorganic powder and an organic compound are mixed and agitated to coat particle surfaces of the inorganic powder with the organic compound, where a coating amount of the organic compound on the inorganic powder is uniformized while suppressing adhesion of the inorganic powder and organic compound to an inner wall of a mixing vessel.SOLUTION: When agitating inorganic powder and an organic compound in a vessel 11 equipped with a stirring blade(s) and provided with openings 13 and 14, there are provided at least a first agitation step and a second agitation step to be performed after the first agitation step.
