To provide a non-aqueous solvent purifying method that includes a pretreatment step of removing water from an ion exchange resin containing water by passing a non-aqueous solvent for dehydration treatment, the method being characterized in that the amount of the non-aqueous solvent used for dehydration treatment in the pretreatment step is small.SOLUTION: The non-aqueous solvent purifying method includes: a pretreatment step of removing water from a granular resin having an ion exchange group by passing a non-aqueous solvent for the dehydration treatment through a packed layer of the granular resin having the ion exchange group before the dehydration treatment; a purification step of purifying the non-aqueous solvent to be purified by passing the non-aqueous solvent to be purified through the packed layer of the granular resin having the ion exchange group after the dehydration treatment. The granular resin having the ion exchange group is a granular resin having a central portion in which the ion exchange group is not introduced and a surface layer portion in which the ion exchange group is introduced.SELECTED DRAWING: None
