A dimensional stability easily recyclable while maintaining the production of floor covering comprising a lower cost improved backing layer, installation, and provides a recycling method. A floor covering material 2 with a dimensional stability includes a tufted base fabric 14, and a reinforcing layer 16 which is adhered to the primary backing substrate 20. Reinforcing layer 16 includes an adhesive composition 32 (adhesive backing compound), a plurality of fibers 36 surrounded by an adhesive backing and a (reinforcing fibers).
