Optical device comprising a first and a second optical element. The first optical element collimates the light from the light source to produce a collimated light. The light is provided to the second optical element. The second optical element functions as an optical integrator for homogenizing the light. Furthermore the second optical element to produce a light output beam having a divergence of the output angle which depends on the position. This means that the output divergence of the output angle, by controlling the light that reaches the second optical plate, thus, by controlling the irradiated area on the second optical plate is controllable to. This can be achieved by selection of the relative position between the light source and the optical plate.
