How to dynamically maintain horizontal framing video and device. System allows a user to visualize thereby enabling the user to freely rotate the device, the final output in overlay on the viewfinder or screen of the device during imaging when it is taken. The resulting recording is corrected thereafter keep the single orientation with appropriate horizon. The system and method operate to display an overlay on top of the captured captured representation of the video. Overlay shows an image after the change to its orientation.
