Embodiment of the collapsible and expandable prosthetic heart valve is disclosed in the radial direction. The prosthetic valve may be provided an annular frame, leaflet, inner skirt, and an outer skirt. Outer skirt is fixed to the outside of the inflow end portion of the frame, the outer skirt, buckled valve outward becomes flat when in the collapsed configuration in the radial direction when the valve is in the expanded configuration It may have a longitudinal slack. In some embodiments, the outer skirt is a higher rigidity in the axial direction of the valve than the circumferential direction of the valve. In a further embodiment, the outer skirt is provided with a self-expandable fabric comprising fibers made of shape memory material having a preset shape memory so as to enhance the radially outward buckling of the outer skirt. A method of such into the collapsed configuration, or partially collapsed configuration valves crimped is disclosed.
