Systems and methods are presented on communication within the fabric network. Fabric network includes one or more logical network that allows devices connected to the fabric to communicate with each other using a variety of profiles known to the device. Apparatus for transmitting messages to encode the message according to the general message format, other devices apparatus to which the logical network can understand the message whether connected in the fabric. In the message format, the receiving side apparatus forwards the message, to store or process may include payload data. Format and content of the payload may vary according to the header in the payload indicating the message type in profile and the profile.
