PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure in which safety at a small overlap collision is improved without increasing the weight of the whole vehicle body.SOLUTION: The vehicle body structure has: a main frame 3; upper frames 13 that are positioned in an upward direction and in an outer direction of the main frame 3; an engine 51; a suspension cross member 55 that is connected to the main frame 3 and holds the engine 51; and a reinforcing member 17 that is separate from an upper suspension holding member 7 for holding an upper suspension. The main frame 3 has at least a reinforcement portion 19 that becomes higher in strength than other portion of the main frame 3 due to connection of the suspension cross member 55 to the main frame 3. The reinforcing member 17 bridges the upper frame 13 and the reinforcement portion 19.
