PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a vertical pipe, capable of more smoothly performing carrying-in of a pipe material, and a temporary jig device for constructing the vertical pipe.SOLUTION: In a pipe shaft 2, a hanging device 11 for hanging down pipe materials 4 constituting a vertical pipe 3 is installed on the uppermost floor among floors where construction of the vertical pipe 3 is performed, and a guide wire 31 is vertically extended in a state of tension from the installation floor of the hanging device 11 to the lowest floor among the floors where the construction of the vertical pipe 3 is performed. When hanging the pipe materials, with one end to which a connection member 21 detachably connected to a hook 17 provided at a lower end of a wire rope 16 of the hanging device 11 is detachably attached, by the hanging device 11, the wire rope 16 and a central axis of the pipe material 4 are positioned on the same virtual straight line extending in the vertical direction. A helping tool 41 with one end connected to the side of the pipe materials 4 and the other end vertically slidably locked to the guide wire 31 is attached, and then the pipe materials 4 are hung down to the installation floor and are connected to a connection destination.
