PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and promptly reflect an exchange of an apparatus on apparatus information managed by a system even when the apparatus is exchanged without notifying a manager.SOLUTION: The apparatus management device comprises: an apparatus information storage unit 16 for storing apparatus information; a receiving unit 11 for receiving an alert event; a first determination unit 12 for, when the alert event is an incoming event, determining whether an address of an apparatus which has generated the alert event coincides with an address of any of the stored apparatus information; a second determination unit 13 for, when the addresses coincide with each other, determining whether apparatus identification information on the apparatus information coincides with apparatus identification information on the alert event; a selection request unit 14 for, when the apparatus identification information does not coincide with each other, requesting the manager to select whether to update the apparatus information by using the apparatus identification information on the alert event; and an updating unit 15 for, when a selection instruction is an update instruction, updating the apparatus information by using the apparatus identification information on the alert event.
