PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pavement binder of which the resistance with respect to a severe temperature condition or load condition is enhanced while securing construction convenience such that construction can be performed with similar machine formation or construction organization to the prior arts.SOLUTION: The pavement binder is used for a pavement mixture forming pavement and contains a polyamide resin of which the weight average molecular weight measured by gel permission chromatography is two thousand or more and ten thousand or less and the area corresponding to a component of which the molecular weight is twenty thousand or more and five hundred thousand or less in a chromatogram of molecular weight distribution measured by gel permission chromatography is 0.5% or more and 12% or less in the whole area.
