PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel speed sensor capable of making a holder surely hold a detection part including a magneto-electric converter.SOLUTION: A wheel speed sensor includes: a magneto-electric converter 11 which is located between a magnet and a hub for a wheel, which detects the amount of flux change by rotation of the hub for a wheel, converts it into an electric signal and outputs it; a reed 12 which has a bent belt shape and in which one end part is connected to the magneto-electric converter 11; a holder 1 which has a rectangular parallelepiped shape and which has a holding part for holding the magneto-electric converter 11 on one surface and in which the other end of the reed 12 is placed on the other surface which continues to the one surface; and a cover 20 which covers the holder 1 from the other surface side. The cover 20 has a pressing part 23 which presses the reed 12 in a part facing the other surface.
