PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of extending its product life.SOLUTION: A lighting device according to one embodiment includes: a light emitting part including a first substrate, a second substrate, an organic electroluminescent element provided between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a first sealing part which seals peripheral portions of the first substrate and the second substrate; a connection part which supplies electric power to the organic electroluminescent element; a housing part having a space in which airtightness is maintained and housing the light emitting part in the space; and a second sealing part which is provided at the housing part and seals a portion of the connection part which extends to the exterior from the housing part.
