PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for controlling an image on a room mirror.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for controlling an image on a room mirror. The apparatus for controlling an image on a room mirror comprises: an angle sensor that measures the angle of a room mirror in a vehicle; an operation sensing unit that senses the operation angle of the room mirror from the value measured by the angle sensor; a view converting unit that produces a view-changed image by converting a view of an outdoor image taken by a camera mounted on the vehicle on the basis of the sensed operation angle of the room mirror; and an output control unit that performs control so that the outdoor image is displayed on the room mirror, and when the angle of the room mirror is adjusted during the outdoor image is displayed on the room mirror, performs control so that a view-changed image corresponding to an adjusted angle of the room mirror is displayed on the room mirror.
