PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container rotating device that facilitates extraction of a processing object.SOLUTION: A container rotating device 100 of the present invention includes: a first end wall 14 defining the inside of a cylindrical rotating container 10 into a first rotational chamber 15 and a second rotational chamber 15, and rotating integrally with a cylindrical wall 11 of the cylindrical rotating container 10; a first starting end wall 12 provided at the cylindrical rotating container 10 and opposed to the first end wall 14 across the first rotational chamber 15; a transfer path 23R having a first end opening 24 extending in an arc shape along an outer edge of the first end wall 14 and opened in the first rotational chamber 15, and a second starting end opening 25 opened within a second rotational chamber 16 at both ends, and through which a processing object S can pass; and a motor 31 for switching the rotating direction of the cylindrical rotating container 10 between a normal rotation for making the second starting end opening 25 precede the first end opening 24 in the transfer path 23R and the reverse rotation thereof.
