PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet binding device, a sheet processing apparatus, an image forming system, an image forming apparatus and a program of the sheet binding device, capable of performing perfect binding and temporary binding, while suppressing cost increase and enlargement of a device.SOLUTION: A sheet binding device 280 of a crimping binding system is provided for binding a sheet bundle PB by binding means 210 having a pair of crimping members 261 with an irregular shape arranged in a predetermined direction. The sheet binding device has binding trace angle change means capable of making the binding means bind the sheet bundle by changing an angle of a binding trace 301 attached to the sheet bundle after binding it with the binding means. The binding power between the sheets of the sheet bundle to the direction of turning the sheets can be changed by changing the angle of the binding trace.
