PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device which can perform an operation adjusting position to take out pattern pieces from a seat material and cutting in the cutting device in small bother and time.SOLUTION: A cutting device comprises: a cutting device main body 2 for cutting; a making board 3 for marking using a paper pattern; an unrolling machine 4 for sending a fabric to the cutting device main body 2; and a control device 5 for making cutting data based on input from the marking board 3 and outputting the cutting data to the cutting device main body 2. After the paper pattern 8 is arranged in a marking area 31 of a board main body 30 of the marking board 3 and marking is performed, a reader 32 reads an arrangement state of the paper pattern, and a board control unit 33 outputs an arrangement image. An outline extraction unit 51 of the control device 5 extracts picture element of the outline of the paper pattern from the arrangement image, a trace unit 52 performs vector conversions to the extracted picture element, and a cutting data converter 54 converts the vector data in cutting data.
