PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an irradiated region by X-rays to be adjusted to provide further effective and efficient X-ray therapy, using a puncture X-ray generator for irradiating an affected part inside a living body with X-rays emitted from a target 11, the puncture X-ray generator including: an electron emission part 6 arranged inside an envelope 5; and the target 11 which emits X-rays by being irradiated with electrons emitted from the electron emission part 6.SOLUTION: In a puncture X-ray generator, a front shield 8: is provided that is arranged so as to protrude to the outside of an envelope 5; and includes an opening 20 serving as a path for X-rays to be irradiated to an affected part, and an irradiated region by X-rays irradiated to the affected area can be adjusted by exchanging the front shield 8.
