PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply switching device for performing outage time power supply switching from a regular power supply to a portable power supply device.SOLUTION: A power supply switching device (100) for a portable power supply device (200) comprises: first and second terminals (122, 124) to be connected to a charge terminal (212) for a secondary battery (234) on the device main body side and a power supply terminal (214), respectively; a third terminal (112) to be connected to a regular power supply (400); and a signal terminal (126) for inputting/outputting charge control signals. The power supply switching device further comprises a control circuit (150) configured so that a signal of outage of the regular power supply is taken from the third terminal connected to the regular power supply and power supply from the secondary battery to the load (300) side is performed through the power supply terminal and the second terminal.
