PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal bottle can achieving a balance between thinning and light weight while keeping strength.SOLUTION: A metal bottle can has an opening having a curl part at the tip end, a neck part having a straight part parallel to a can axis, a tapered shoulder part, a barrel part and a bottom part, these being integrally formed. An original plate having a thickness (thickness T) of 0.48 to 0.30 mm is drawn and squeezed to be formed into the metal bottle can having the barrel part having a diameter A of 40 to 70 mm, the neck part having a diameter B of 20 to 35 mm and the straight part of the neck part having a length S of 10 to 40 mm, the shoulder part having an inclination angle α of 40 to 70 degrees, the opening having a thickness X of 0.46 to 0.33 mm, and the straight part of the neck part having a thickness Y of 0.43 to 0.30 mm.
