PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a powder container corresponding to a known powder injection device so that a different powder type, size, and mixture can be used before, after or simultaneously by means of the same powder injection device, and to improve an insert and a nozzle configuration which are combined with the powder container.SOLUTION: A powder container (2) for a powder injection device (1) includes a powder holding part (14), a gas admission port (17), a mixture outlet (15), and a whirl chamber (24) and makes pressure gas like a vortex flow in it and can discharge the pressure gas as a powder gas mixture through a discharge opening (16). The powder container (2) has a connected region (48) that air tightly connects the container to connections (56, 57) of the powder injection device (1) corresponding to a mixture outlet (15) arranged in the connected region (48) as well as to a gas admission port (17) arranged in the connected region (48) respectively.
