PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe roof construction method for efficiently constructing a pipe roof with high structural reliability while permitting errors in constructing tunnels.SOLUTION: The pipe roof construction method comprises: a first step of constructing a plurality of tunnels side by side in a ground; and a second step of mounting a guide member in a start side tunnel where steel pipes R for the pipe roof are inserted into the ground for guiding the steel pipes R to the inner space side of a segment (steel segment) S, inserting the steel pipes R via the guide member into the ground until arriving at an arrival side tunnel, and bridging the pipe roof R between both tunnels to form forepoling timbering, and fixing a supporting member 3 to the inner space face of the segment (steel segment) S of the sart side tunnel while using the supporting member 3 for supporting the steel pipes R at their ends protruded from the guide member to the inner space side of the segment (steel segment) S of the start side tunnel.
