PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of reasonably holding a thermoelectric module.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric conversion unit 1 has cases 4, 5 having recesses 4a14, 5a14 forming flow paths 4f, 5g; substrates 2b, 2c for blocking openings of the recesses 4a14, 5a14; a thermoelectric element 2a provided between the substrates 2b, 2c; a coupling tool 7 for coupling the cases 4, 5; and fins 2d, 2e projecting in the flow paths 4f, 5g from the substrates 2b, 2c. The cases 4, 5 have opposite parts 4a13, 5a13 opposed to the substrates 2b, 2c outside the recesses 4a14, 5a14. Housing recesses 4a11, 5a11 for housing elastic members 8, 9 are formed at the opposite parts 4a13, 5a13. Spacers (4e, 5e) for setting a distance L1 between the opposite parts 4a13, 5a13 are provided, and set the distance L1 between the opposite parts 4a13, 5a13 larger than a distance L2 of outer faces of the substrates 2b, 2c.
