PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly for blocking a fluid flow between turbine components.SOLUTION: The assembly for blocking a fluid flow between turbine components, includes: a shim; and a first woven wire mesh layer having a first surface combined with a first side of the shim and a second surface of a woven wire mesh layer positioned on a side opposite to the first surface. The assembly includes a first outer layer that is combined with the second surface of the woven wire mesh layer and includes a high temperature non-metallic material.
