PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid hydrogen (LH2) pumping system which has simplified mechanical requirements while providing continuous flow for gaseous hydrogen (GH2) conversion over an extended period.SOLUTION: A thermodynamic pump 12 provides gaseous hydrogen (GH2) employing a plurality of liquid hydrogen (LH2) tanks 20a, 20b, and 20c sequentially pressurized with gaseous hydrogen from an accumulator 38. A heat exchanger 32 receiving LH2 from each of the plurality of tanks as sequentially pressurized returns pressurized GH2 to the accumulator for supply to an engine.
