PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid type heating apparatus which can cope with fuel shortage and cause a user to be aware of the fact that heating is being performed with an electric heating device because of fuel shortage.SOLUTION: When a fuel running-out detection sensor 11 detects fuel shortage, a command generating part 8 outputs a fuel stop command to a burner device 3, and then outputs an electrification start command to an electrification circuit SC of an electric heating apparatus device 5. When a predetermined minimum electrification period expires after the electrification start command is output to the electrification circuit SC, the command generating part 8 outputs an electrification stop command to the electrification circuit SC.
