PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform coating that gives superior taste masking and prompt release in a stomach, the coating being for taste masking of core particles containing topiramate.SOLUTION: The topiramate granules include (a) the core particles containing topiramate and (b) a masking-coating membrane to coat the core particles. The masking-coating membrane includes 15-70 wt.% of a polymer such as an ethyl acrylate/methyl methacrylate copolymer, 15-60 wt.% of an excipient such as D-mannitol based on the weight of the membrane, and a coating substrate so that the weight ratio of the coating substrate and the polymer is 0:1 to 4:1, wherein the total amount of the polymer and the excipient is 50-95 wt.% based on the weight of the masking-coating membrane. The topiramate granules or the like with the characteristics is provided.
