PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous interactive application via an effective interface between a scheduling system and a broadcast server.SOLUTION: A method comprises: a step for receiving a control signal which controls broadcast of a broadcast program; a step for determining whether an interactive application associated with one of the broadcast programs can be discovered from the control signal; a step for generating, from the control signal, a command for maintaining execution and termination of the interactive application by synchronizing with either display or broadcast of the broadcast program in the case where the interactive application can be discovered; and a step for generating, from the control signal, a command for maintaining execution and termination of a default interactive application during either display or broadcast of the broadcast program in the case where the interactive application cannot be discovered.
