PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle capable of providing a proper steering reaction force to steering using a knob.SOLUTION: In the steering device 9, the mechanical coupling between a steering member 10 and rear wheels (steered wheels) is cut. The knob supporting shaft 56 fixed to a core metal 54 of a wheel 52 of the steering member 10 rotatably supports the knob 51 via a bearing 62. The knob reaction force actuator 12 is an electric motor having a stator 59 fixed to the knob supporting shaft 56 and a rotor 60 rotating along with the inner periphery 51a of the knob 51. The reaction force actuator 12 is controlled in reaction force so as to provide proper steering reaction force according to the knob rotational angle to the rotation of the knob 51 around the knob center C3.
