PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin rod pulling device and a heat fixing method which applies predetermined tension to a resin rod by a simple structure.SOLUTION: The resin rod pulling device 1 includes: a pair of grip means 7 for detachably gripping both ends 5 of a biodegradable resin rod 3; a supporting means 11 for movably supporting the pair of grip means 7 in a direction of relatively approaching or separating the grip means; a drive means 15 for operating an output part 13 in a direction of moving the pair of grip means 7; an elastic member 17 for connecting the output part 13 of the drive means 15 to the grip means 7; and a variable spacer 69 for regulating a space between the grip means 7 and the output part 13 of the drive means 15.
