PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyacetal resin composition, having excellent long-time continuous extrusion productivity, and capable of effectively reducing thermal decomposition and deterioration of a material. SOLUTION: The method for producing the polyacetal resin composition includes a step for obtaining a polyacetal resin homopolymer (A) having a heating weight loss of 0.1-1.0 mass% when heated for 50 min at 222°C under ≤-500 mmHg of a pressure condition, a step for regulating the water content of an acrylamide polymer (B) containing a structure represented by general formulas (I) and/or (II) so as to be ≤1,500 ppm, a step for regulating the water content of a hydrazide compound (C) so as to be ≤1,500 ppm, and a step for melt-kneading the polyacetal resin homopolymer (A), the acrylamide polymer (B), the hydrazide compound (C) and a hindered phenol-based antioxidant (D).
