PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for improving an artificial thigh with center alignment of a prosthetic, especially for computing and adjusting the favorable center alignment of the prosthetic for stance phase of walking.
SOLUTION: An artificial knee joint 3 connects to a lower thigh shaft 4 mounted with a leg section capable of pivoting freely by centering on a thigh shaft 2 for mounting the artificial knee joint 3 to a cross-section end of the thigh and a joint axis 31, and the thigh shaft can be moved to the joint axis 31. The knee moment and an axial direction force working on the lower thigh shaft 4 are measured by a plurality of sensors 10, 11 during use of the prosthetic. The combined force vector having a working point in the thigh shaft 2 is computed from these variables.
